FemTech Entrepreneurship Meetup Series (F.E.M Series) is about being at the forefront of this professional standard.
As a TECH INDUSTRY SECTOR Femtech encompasses any technology aimed at solving what’s known as womens’ issues or promoting gender equality: pregnancy and childbirth; fertility; menstrual cycle; hygiene; contraception; menopause; women's health issues; intimacy and sexuality; sexual education; relationships and dating; prevention and coping with gender-based violence and domestic violence; women's community management; gender equality promotion; balancing family and career; and a multitude of other issues that concern women.
FEMTECH ISRAEL
Was founded by Shelly Bloch, a sociologist, UX research and product management professional, who specializes in gender aspects in technological innovation. We aim to promote innovation and technological solutions for women's needs and raise gender awareness throughout all stages of the product development process. FemTech IL has a unique, one of a kind role in connecting people from various professions in the ecosystem: entrepreneurship, product management, UX research, marketing, investment, health, design, academy, therapy, NGO’s, public sector, etc, thus having a great impact on advancing the Israeli FemTech Ecosystem, locally and internationally.

F.E.M SERIES IS THE ONLY PROGRAM PROVIDING A COMPREHENSIVE SET OF PRACTICAL TOOLS FOR THE UNIQUE CHALLENGES FACING THE FEMTECH FIELD, DESIGNED FOR ALL STAKEHOLDERS AND PROFESSIONALS INVOLVED.
AUDIENCE
F.E.M series brings together organizations from different sectors and industries that are interested in promoting FemTech entrepreneurship, such as public sector authorities, accelerators, investors, academia, research institutes, law firms, brands in the field of women's needs, and more.
F.E.M Series is intended for all stakeholders interested in expanding their knowledge on promoting FemTech entrepreneurship: founders and professional leaders of FemTech companies or of companies aiming to improve their services for all genders; representatives of entrepreneurship and innovation support institutions such as accelerators, innovation leaders (hospitals, academies, corporates, etc.); Impact entrepreneurship entities, consultants, etc.; venture capital funds, investment entities, etc.

PROGRAM
Meetups are planned to take place after the holidays, between October and December
6 meetings, each dedicated to a different challenge in FemTech entrepreneurship
Most meetups will take place in Tel Aviv, but for the purpose of exposure and making FemTech accessible to a wide range of the Israeli industry, some of the meetups will be held in Haifa and/or Jerusalem.
